My Bio
Born in Altdorf, Switzerland, began his piano studies as a youngchild in the mid-60's with classical music. By the early ‘70's he was adding rocknd roll to his interests. Once old enough to venture into the vibrant club sceneof his then hometown Chicago, blues and jazz styles began to blend themselves intohis musical consciousness. In the mid-70's, sparked by the sounds of Bob Marley andThird World, his interests started turning toward reggae. Travels to Africa in 1977and then to the Middle East and Asia in 1979, further expanded his musicalinfluences. By 1984, Pablo had turned exclusively to reggae music as the vehiclefor his musical expression. He indulged his passion for ever greater knowledge andability within the realm of reggae, touring in Jamaica extensively until he moved toJamaica full-time in 1987, when he had the honor to work with the legendary producerJack Ruby in the studio. Since that time Pablo has been a guest at such vauntedstudios as Studio One, Dynamic, Sonic and Ghetto Youth. Pablo continues to maintainan active presence in Jamaica, regularly visiting both to perform and record, andalso to work with youth groups in downtown Kingston and in the ghettos of Trenchtownand Tivoli Gardens.Pablo today is an accomplished keyboardist/bassist who has performed extensivelyboth live and in recording studios in the U.S., Jamaica and the Virgin Islands.
